Prepaying is the only way to guarantee having a space.
On the day of each fair any available space will be rented on a first come basis for an additional $10 per space.
Vendor spaces are 10' wide x 10' deep.
Vendors are responsible for supplying their own fixtures, tables, tent.
There is room to set up a 10'x10' tent in every space and at least 3 six foot tables in a U-shape.
All vendor spaces are on Merrick Avenue.
Explanation of Rental Rates
Our business model is based on encouraging people to SHOP SMALL and SHOP LOCAL!
Our vendors are the direct descendants of the American retail pioneers that build this country one town at a time.
Outdoor shopping is the heart and soul of what we offer.
Online and big box chain stores dominate the landscape today, but there is nothing like getting out on a Saturday or Sunday to enjoy the simple pleasures of shopping, browsing, and people watching with your friends, family, and neighbors.
Our definition of 'local' is small, independent for profit vendors consisting of artists, crafters, gift curators, and neighborhood brick and mortar mom & pop stores.
We believe they are the reason why people come to our fairs.
The vendors consisting of larger groups and organizations attend because there are people.
The other, larger, vendor groups include brick and mortar stores representing organizations such as real estate agencies, the media, gyms, etc, who may or may not be affiliated with larger regional, national or international organizations..
The 'other vendor groups' generally have staffs larger than 'mom & pop' along with one or two full or part time employees.
VENDOR RENTAL RATES
Artists, Crafters, Gift Items, Farm Stands, Prepackaged Food and Beverage items for home consumption, Not-For-Profits, small local brick and mortar mom & pop stores, Political Candidates and Elected Officials.
$100 total rent for each space each day.
$110 for each space each day for vendors requiring limited or no competition for their product or brand such as Scentsy, Paparazzi, Color Street, face painters, henna artists, etc.
Multi-Location Professional Vendors and Organizations
$230 total rent for each space each day or $380 total rent for a 2-day fair.

Multi-Location Professional Service Vendors and Organizations

Multi-Location Service Vendors and Organizations requiring limited or no competition for their service or company.
$230 total rent for either day of the two-day Fair.
$380 total rent for both days of the two-day Fair.
Explanation of service vendors rental rates:
Maryann’s Merrick Dance Studio or Joe Smith Real Estate are examples of small, local independent service vendors paying a lower rent.
New York Life or T-Mobile are examples of larger regional, national, or international multi-location service vendors paying a higher rent.
Charitable nonprofit and government organizations
A charitable nonprofit organization is one that qualifies for tax-exempt status by the IRS because its mission and purpose are to further a social cause and provide a public benefit.
Charitable nonprofit organizations include hospitals, universities, national charities and foundations.
The polices set forth by our nonprofit associates do not allow any organizations or groups to promote issues which are considered to be controversial at our Fairs.
Nonprofit and government organizations receive space on the following conditions:
A vendor application is submitted with a $25 registration.
No items are offered for sale
No donations are solicited or accepted
No election politicking.
Must be in office as we do not allow running candidates to have a booth. In office officials are always welcome to offer information.
Your booth is open for all advertised hours
The free space is limited to literature and signage to create awareness, education, and involvement for the organization.
If you are setting up a table it must be covered with a quality material that ideally reaches the floor on all four sides
If you are setting up a canopy it must have 18 pounds of weight on each leg on windy days for public safety.

VENDOR RULES
Vendors are prohibited from displaying their items beyond the limits of their rented space.
Vendors are prohibited from calling out to shoppers and from walking through the fair to distribute literature or attract shoppers to their booth.
Vendors may only greet shoppers who approach their booth.
VENDOR SET UP DETAILS & INSTRUCTIONS
You must check in before setting up.
You might be relocated if you do not check in.
VENDORS MUST BEGIN TO BREAK DOWN IN TIME TO BE OFF MERRICK AVENUE NO LATER THAN 5:30PM.
AT 5PM VENDORS MUST END SALES AND REMOVE ALL ITEMS FROM THE STREET AND PLACE THEM ON THE SIDEWALK.
WHEN PUBLIC SAFETY GIVES APPROVAL VENDORS MAY BEGIN TO BRING THEIR VEHICLE TO THEIR LOCATION AND LOAD UP TO LEAVE.
There are two separate areas where vendors set up:
1. On Merrick Avenue between Sunrise Highway and Broadcast Plaza.
Check in for vendors setting up between Sunrise and Broadcast Plaza starts at approximately 7am, when Merrick Avenue has been closed off by public safety officials.
Management will be on Merrick Avenue at the intersection of Broadcast Plaza from 7am to check in vendors on a first come basis.
Vendors arriving to set up after 9:30 will not be permitted to drive onto Merrick Avenue and should be prepared to carry or wheel their items to their space.
Vendors should park in the LIRR parking lot and carry or wheel a table or canopy with you when you check in with management and you will then be directed to your space.
You may leave your table or canopy on the sidewalk directly behind your space until the avenue is closed to vehicular traffic and bring your other items from your car and place them on the sidewalk directly behind your space.
Unload as quickly as possible before setting up your display and park in any legal space off Merrick Avenue..
At the risk of being towed, do not leave your vehicle parked in the LIRR parking lot. There is ample free parking in the Municipal lot just off Broadcast Plaza 100' west of Merrick Avenue.
Toward the end of the day all vendors must begin to break down their displays in time to be off Merrick Avenue no later than 6pm.
You may place your tent, tables, and all other items on the sidewalk directly behind your space and then drive your vehicle to your space when permitted by management and or public safety officials.
If you break down your booth before being given permission to drive your vehicle to your space, you must carry or wheel your items to your vehicle.
2. On Merrick Avenue starting at Smith Street and going north.
On Saturday and Sunday vendor set up starts at 7am providing Merrick Avenue has been closed off by public safety officials.
Our green vested staff will be on Merrick Avenue at Smith Street to greet and set vendors up.
Vendors arriving to set up after 9:30 will not be permitted to drive onto Merrick Avenue and should be prepared to carry or wheel their items to their space.
You may leave your table or canopy on the sidewalk directly behind your space until the avenue is closed to vehicular traffic and bring your other items from your car and place them on the sidewalk directly behind your space.
Unload as quickly as possible before setting up your display and park in any legal space off Merrick Avenue.
In addition of street parking there are ample spaces in the several municipal lots just off Merrick Avenue.
Toward the end of the day all vendors must begin to break down their displays in time to be off Merrick Avenue no later than 6pm.
You may place your tent, tables, and all other items on the sidewalk directly behind your space and then drive your vehicle to your space when permitted by management and or public safety officials.
If you break down your booth before being given permission to drive your vehicle to your space, you must carry or wheel your items to your vehicle.
On windy days for public safety vendors setting up a portable tent must have at least 18lbs of weight on each leg of the tent.
Vendors who sell quality items that are displayed on a bare table only diminish their look and lower the overall appearance of the Market.
For your own good we strongly recommend covering your tables with a quality material.
Vendors may purchase floor length 4' or 6' black fitted machine washable trade show quality table covers from management for $15-$20 each while supplies last.
Vendors are responsible for removing any and all garbage, debris, boxes, etc. from their space and taking them away from the Fair grounds.
