We are dedicated to doing whatever is necessary to enable our vendors to be profitable.
We have been blessed with the finest locations and some of the best Fairs in Nassau County.
Most of our outdoor locations and fairs have come via invitations from high profile charitable and nonprofit organizations, many of Nassau County's towns, villages, and cities, as well as the County's Department of Parks and Recreation.
Our indoor locations have come via invitations from regional malls in Nassau County and Staten Island.
In addition to excellent locations and successful shows, the secret to achieving enduring success as a producer of fairs is to constantly give back by spending significant dollars on advertising and treating vendors with respect.

Here is what to expect when you come to shop or sell at any of our events throughout the year:
Enjoy the old-fashioned experience of shopping and browsing among our family of professional vendors.
Shoppers will be treated with respect by knowledgeable, NYS state licensed, independent small business owners who offer recognizable savings on their personal collections of handmade and or handpicked quality items.
Nassau County Fairs is a unique, privately owned company that works primarily as a fund raiser for nonprofit organizations.
We specialize in producing Street Fairs, Craft & Gift Shows, Flea Markets and Mall Shows.
Our vendor base consists primarily of independent small business owners who offer items ranging from art, crafts, gifts, street food and services for the home, business, and lifestyles.
Our merchandise vendors specialize in items that are either handmade or handpicked.
All items are generally hard to find and not available in big box stores, malls or in downtown shopping areas.
Our vendors pay a fixed amount of rent published on this website with no hidden fees.
You can find us at different upscale locations just about every week throughout the year.
With reasonably good weather we attract thousands of shoppers and browsers who enjoy that old fashioned experience of mingling in an upscale outdoor environment with the ability to touch and feel items of interest while meeting and chatting with the vendors offering their goods for sale.
New vendors are always welcome.
Shopping online and at big box stores are great, but there is nothing like spending the day in the great outdoors with friends, family, neighbors and enjoying two of America's favorite pastimes---shopping and people watching!
My Story
Armed with business and English degrees from Long Island University and Hofstra, I was a professional free-lance writer and publisher.
I changed careers and began to sell my handmade jewelry at craft shows throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
I began to produce street fairs and flea markets in Sullivan County New York.
Alan Finchley's Famous Flea Market at Monticello Raceway was New York State's first new merchandise flea market and was a major attraction for 30 years until I retired in 2007.
During that time, I also produced and consulted for hundreds of outdoor and indoor street fairs, craft shows, food festivals, flea markets, and mall shows throughout the New York area.
In 2008 I went back into business by accepting an invitation from the Nassau County Parks Department to begin producing craft and gift shows at Eisenhower Park and Christopher Morley Park.
These shows continue to this day.
In 2009 my company began to accept invitations to work with many different non-profit and for-profit organizations who wanted to raise funds and enhance awareness.
Our nonprofits love working with us because they do not need to provide any volunteers or funds to reap the benefits.
Since 2008 we have raised well over $1,000,000 for our nonprofit associates.
My vendors, staff, and I genuinely care about the quality of the experience you will enjoy when you either shop or sell at any of our fairs.
At the time of this writing Nassau County Fairs is widely acknowledged as the industry leader in shopping events on Long Island.
Looking forward to doing business with you.
Thank you,
Alan Finchley
