Explanation of Rental Rates
Our business model is based on encouraging people to shop small and shop local.
Our vendors are the direct descendants of the American retail pioneers that build this country one town at a time.
Outdoor shopping is the heart and soul of what we offer.
Online and big box chain stores dominate the landscape today, but there is nothing like getting out on a Saturday or Sunday to enjoy the simple pleasures of shopping, browsing, and people watching with your friends, family, and neighbors.
Our definition of 'local' is small, independent for profit vendors consisting of artists, crafters, gift curators, and neighborhood brick and mortar mom & pop stores.
We believe they are the reason why people come to our fairs.
The vendors consisting of larger groups and organizations attend because there are people.
The other, larger, vendor groups include brick and mortar stores representing organizations such as real estate agencies, the media, gyms, etc, who may or may not be affiliated with larger regional, national or international organizations..
The 'other vendor groups' generally have staffs larger than 'mom & pop' along with one or two full or part time employees.
Charitable nonprofit and government organizations A charitable nonprofit organization is one that qualifies for tax-exempt status by the IRS because its mission and purpose are to further a social cause and provide a public benefit. Simply being a nonprofit does not qualify as a charitable organization.Charitable nonprofit organizations include national and international charities and foundations. The polices set forth by our nonprofit associates do not allow any organizations or groups to promote issues which are considered to be controversial at our Fairs.Nonprofit and government organizations receive space on the following conditions: A vendor application is submitted with a $25 registration payment for each space each day.No items are offered for saleNo donations are solicited or accepted. No election politicking. Must be in office as we do not allow running candidates to have a booth. In office officials are always welcome to offer information. Your booth is open for all advertised hours. The free space is limited to literature and signage to create awareness, education, and involvement for the organization. You must comply with all vendor set up and break down requirements.
