VENDOR INFORMATION & RULES
Vendors must check in before setting up.
Check in time on the morning of each event starts at 7am and continues throughout the morning hours.
In most cases we do not pre-assign vendor spaces.
Space is assigned when you arrive.
A staff member will check you in and direct you to be set up.
If you cannot find a staff member when you arrive to set up, please ask any vendor where they are, or call us at 516-442-6000 because we might be anywhere on the grounds helping other vendors.
Set up only under the direction of a staff member.
When you set up in the morning do not place your items to the left or right of your space because you might be in another vendor's space and you might be liable for paying for the additional space.
Electricity is not available.
Please bring a silent generator if you need electricity.
If you choose to have them, you are responsible for supplying your own fixtures, tables, and canopy.
Some of our two-day events allow vendors to leave their tent and tables overnight, but under no circumstances leave merchandise overnight.
Most of our events allow vendors to unload at or very near their space.
Some of our events allow vendors to park their vehicles behind their space for the entire day.
Every vendor space provides enough room for vendors to set up a 10'x10' canopy.
The canopy will cover at least 3 six-foot tables in U-shape.
For public safety we require that all vendor canopies have a minimum of 18-25 lbs of weight on each of the four legs .
Please be prepared for this!
If your canopy is not weighted down as described above, you run the risk of your canopy being carried away by the wind and causing serious damage to people and property.
At our discretion we will take down vendors canopies that are not property weighted.
Vendor tables must be covered with quality material.
Bare tables are prohibited.
Trade shows top quality 6' fitted floor length black machine washable table covers are sold by show management for $20 while supplies last.
Vendors are responsible for removing all garbage, debris, boxes, etc. from their space and taking them away.
During the selling day please be respectful and considerate of your neighboring vendors by keeping all items within the confines of your space.
Placing merchandise, signage, or chairs outside your 10'x10' space is unacceptable.
For public safety vendors who leave early may not bring their vehicle to their space and must carry or wheel their items to their vehicles.
Vendors are prohibited from calling out to shoppers and from walking through the fair to distribute literature or attract shoppers to their booth.
Vendors may only greet shoppers who approach their booth.
