VENDOR SET UP DETAILS & INSTRUCTIONS
GPS 1 Broadcast Plaza, Merrick NY 11566
We apologize, but because of the way the parking lot is laid out, vendors must carry or wheel their items a short distance to and from their selling area.
When you arrive in your vehicle, please be prepared to be patient as we get every vendor set up on a first come basis.
There are no ‘bad’ or ‘dead end spaces’, so there is no one space that is ‘better’ than another.
DO NOT USE OR SET UP IN A SPACE UNLESS IT IS UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF OUR STAFF.
Our green/yellow vested staff members will greet you and direct you to available space.
If you cannot find a staff member please ask any vendor where they can be found.
Our staff will be ready starting at 7am to set up vendors, again on a first come basis.
Please follow instructions and line up as directed and remain in your vehicle.
When it is your turn to set up you will be asked by our staff how many spaces you want.
Please place all of your items into your space and immediately park your vehicle as outlined above.
Each space is approximately 12’ wide and 10’ deep.
Vendors are responsible for supplying their own fixtures, tables, tent.
There is room to set up a 10'x10' tent in every space and at least 3 six foot tables in a U-shape.
Please make sure that you do not place your items in any space but your own at any time.
Do not begin to set up your canopy or tables or display until you have parked your car as required.
Under no circumstances may any vendor vehicle be parked in the same lot as the Craft & Gift Show and the Carnival.
Find a legal space on the street any where except Broadcast Plaza or park in any of the many parking lots up and down Merrick Avenue.
The closest parking lot is directly across the street from the Fest behind the movie theatre.
On Saturday and Sunday vendor set up starts at 7 am and continues throughout the morning hours.
If you have not reserved space in advance and if space is available, we will allow you to set up and you will be responsible for paying rent as shown above.
Management will visit every vendor starting at about 9am to confirm prepaid renters or collect rent from vendors who have not prepaid.
Vendors renting space both Saturday and Sunday may leave their canopy and tables set up overnight.
If you want to guarantee getting the same space on Sunday, then you must leave something in your space when you leave Saturday such as tables and or tent frame.
If you do not follow this procedure, then in order to get a space on Sunday you must follow the same procedure you did when you arrived on Saturday.
Vendors are responsible for supplying their own fixtures, tables, tent.
On windy days for public safety vendors setting up a portable tent must have at least 18lbs of weight on each leg of the tent.
Vendors who sell quality items that are displayed on a bare table only diminish their look and lower the overall appearance of the Market.
For your own good we strongly recommend covering your tables with a quality material.
Vendors may purchase floor length 4' or 6' black fitted machine washable trade show quality table covers from management for $15-$20 each while supplies last.
Vendors are responsible for removing any and all garbage, debris, boxes, etc. from their space and taking them away from the Fair grounds.
