VENDOR RULES
This fair is held in the parking lot of the LIRR station, and presents some unique challenges for vendor set up in the morning.
Please join the vendor line on Broadcast Plaza and be patient while we check in each vendor and direct them to our field staff to be led to their space.
You can greatly help by simply unloading your tent, tables, and all other items into your space and moving your vehicle to the vendor parking area as soon as possible.
Your cooperation will go a long way to minimizing congestion and making the process faster for those behind you in the line.
Please do not place your items to the left or right of your space because you might be in another vendor's space and you might be liable for paying for the additional space.
Some spaces have a sidewalk behind them and you are welcome to place your items on the sidewalk directly behind your space and use the extra depth on the sidewalk with no additional fee.
Some spaces are back-to-back with another vendor's space, so please place your items only in your space.
By order of Nassau County Police and the Merrick Chamber of Commerce, vendors are prohibited from parking in the same parking lot as they are set up in, and vendors may not leave their vehicles on Broadcast Plaza.
There is ample convenient parking on neighboring streets and a large parking lot directly behind the Merrick Cinema directly across the street.
After parking in the designated vendor parking areas you may return to your booth to set up your displays and tent.
During the selling day please be respectful and considerate of your neighboring vendors by keeping all items within the confines of your space.
Placing merchandise, signage, or chairs outside your 10'x10' space is unacceptable.
Vendors who leave early must carry or wheel their items to their vehicles.
Vendors are prohibited from calling out to shoppers and from walking through the fair to distribute literature or attract shoppers to their booth.
Vendors may only greet shoppers who approach their booth.
