Directions

GPS 358 N Broadway, Hicksville, NY 11801

Vendor Setup

Set up begins 8am the morning of your first day.

Under no circumstances may a vendor set up on their own.

If you cannot find the vendor set up area call or text Alan 516-442-6000.

Vendors use their own tables and displays.

All tables must be covered with a quality material that reaches the floor on all four sides of the table.

We strongly recommend taking your merchandise home with you every night because although there is 24/7/365 security, neither the mall nor us are responsible for any missing items.

During the show if you have any questions or concerns or discomforts about your space please call Alan 516-442-6000.

If you are confronted by mall management or mall security or any other official mall representative please comply with whatever they are requesting and call or text Alan 516-442-6000.

This year we have added more vendor locations including the mall's Center Court.

For Open House, management will be in the Center Court near Kay Jewelers.

Appointment not required.

Priority for choice of space location is given to those vendors renting the greatest number of days.

Most vendors who have prepaid for a handful of dates will be shown available space on the morning they come to set up.

We recommend that vendors not wait for the open house to apply and pay for their dates because we have a limited number of spaces available.

IMPORTANT VENDOR INFORMATION

We have been producing successful Christmas Craft & Gift Shows at the Broadway Mall for nine years.

Recently there has been much published in local Long Island media regarding the present and future status of the Mall.

The facts are as follows:

The Mall has applied for permits to demolish and rebuild portions of the property particularly the former Macy's.

It is anticipated that decisions regarding the permits are not expected to be made until the end of 2026 at the earliest.

In order to be free of any tenant obligations the Mall has not renewed the leases of a good number of stores.

The good news is that Mall's Center Court is now available to our vendors for our Christmas Craft & Gift Shows.

The Center Court has a long history of success and we strongly believe that participating vendors will be well rewarded.

The Craft & Gift Shows allow vendors to set up in the center of the mall at the main intersection of the aisles leading to and from all mall entrances.

Current anchor tenants include Kay Jewelers, Target, IKEA, Panera Bread, Victoria's Secret, Holisters, H&M, Round One Family Entertainment, and the Food Court.

The Broadway Mall is much smaller than many surrounding regional malls such as Roosevelt Field and Smithhaven.

This actually works in our favor because many people want to avoid the crowds and hectic environment at the larger malls.

With all of the above being said, we encourage all vendors to participate who are within 50 miles of the Mall.

Online shopping, big box stores, and the Covid pandemics have changed the world.

Serious shopper feelings such as "I gotta buy now and I gotta make sure I get the right item in time for Christmas!"...everywhere in the world are limited to the last week or two just before Christmas.

Vendors who travel hundreds of miles to participate in Christmas Shows in November and early December are likely to be disappointed in sales no matter where they go.

Although on Long Island there are some notable exceptions in the form of a limited number of successful long standing pricey stand alone shows held in local schools and places of worship in October andNovember, the rush to buy doesn't generally occur until the middle of December..

We encourage vendors to participate, but we are not in business to hurt anybody.

Vendors tell us all the time "Well, I'll rent a space for a day or two so I can see what it's like"...it is impossible to determine in November or early December what it will be like in the last week or two before Christmas.

To our way of thinking, if you're within 50 miles you can make the trip to our Mall relatively easily and not get weighed down with hotel and associated expenses.

We have proven to hundreds of vendors over the past nine years that if you are able and willing to be here with us for as many show dates as possible you will be well rewarded in the end.
