Most of our outdoor fairs are advertised 'weather permitting'.
Whenever possible we wait as long as possible to cancel, usually waiting until the morning of the fair to make a decision.
If the weather is questionable on the morning of the fair we may not be able to send emails or make phone calls or publish details.
If the weather is questionable, starting at 7am vendors and shoppers can learn the status by calling 516-442-6000.
If the forecast is questionable In the days leading up to a fair you can get the status by logging onto https://nassaucountyfairs.com/schedule
For the most pinpoint weather forecasts, we recommend [www.weather.com](http://www,weather.com
You can direct your search to any specific town on their website.
This way you will get the exact forecast for the fair you are interested in, rather than just a general regional forecast.
Send us an email up to one week before a fair if you want to cancel your reservation in exchange for a different fair or an account credit.
Vendors with limited or no competition agreements do not qualify for a credit for a cancelled fair because we lose revenue by turning away competitors.
Refunds are not available.
