FREE VENDOR RENTAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHARITIES
Nassau County Fairs is a unique for-profit company.
Our charitable and nonprofit associates have provided us with an unprecedented number of quality locations that have ever been given to any one company on Long Island.
In order for us to be able to make the necessary donations to our associates we must use these locations wisely and efficiently.
Nassau County Fairs and its vendors must be profitable.
It takes a lot of money to market and promote every one of our fairs so that as many people as possible are aware of and attend the events throughout the year.
To that end we currently charge a rental rate to all of our vendors that is well below the industry average.
So, because we are already donating to the charities and nonprofits of our choice, we cannot offer free space to other organizations that wish to participate as vendors.
Of course, there are always exceptions.
By our standards, a charity does not have paid employees.
A charity is run excusively by volunteers.
Charitable organizations are welcome to email us their request for free space shop@nassaucountyfairs.com.
If we can accommodate the request here are the requirements:
No items are offered for sale.
No donations are solicited or accepted.
No election politicking.
Must be in office as we do not allow running candidates to have a booth.
Your booth is open for all advertised hours.
The free space is limited to literature and signage to create awareness, education, and involvement for the organization.
You must comply with all vendor set up and break down requirements.
Under no circumstances are individuals or groups permitted to distribute literature without our express permission.

VENDOR SET UP DETAILS
Set up time starts on Friday from 5pm-6pm and Saturday and Sunday starting at 7am and continuing throughout the morning hours.
No appointment is necessary.
Some spaces allow vendors to park their vehicle at their space for the entire day.
If this is important to you, we recommend you arrive as early as possible on the days and hours shown above.
In most cases we do not pre-assign vendor spaces.
Space is assigned when you arrive based on availibility and your acceptance of the space.
On Friday afternoon or Saturday or Sunday a staff member will greet you and direct you to available space.
If you cannot find a staff member when you arrive to set up, please ask any vendor where they can be found or call us at 516-442-6000 because we might be anywhere on the grounds helping other vendors.
Do not set up on your own.
Set up only under the direction of a staff member.
We have been informed that food trucks will not be allowed to set up.
The Park's exclusive caterer may or may not choose to sell food and beverage to vendors and shoppers.
We recommend that all vendors bring their own food and beverage.
There is a food mart directly across the street.
If the food and beverage situation changes, we will publish here immediately.
Vendors set up on grassy lawn.
Vendor spaces are 10x10 .
Just about every vendor space allows room for vendors to set up a 10'x10' tent in their space and at least 3 six-foot tables in a U-shape.
Vendors are responsible for supplying their own fixtures, tables, tent.
Vendors may unload/load at or very near their space.
Vendors and their helpers must park in the nearby vendor parking area, not in the customer parking area.
When we assign your space, we will let you know where you and your help must park.
Vendors may leave their tent and tables overnight, but under no circumstances leave merchandise overnight.
Vendors renting in advance for both days must leave tables and or tent frame in their space on Saturday night in order to guarantee having the same location for Sunday.
There are two police stations in Eisenhower Park, but we do not take responsibility for whatever items vendors leave overnight.
On windy days for public safety vendors setting up a portable tent must have at least 18lbs of weight on each leg of the tent.
Vendors who sell quality items that are displayed on a bare table only diminish their look and lower the overall appearance of the Market.
For your own good we strongly recommend covering your tables with a quality material.
Trade show top quality 6' fitted floor length black machine washable table covers are sold by show management for $20 while supplies last.
Vendors are responsible for removing any and all garbage, debris, boxes, etc. from their space and taking them away from the Fair grounds.
